Dear Colleague,
As discussed at the recent I3RC workshop, we will try to make the I3RC web site into a valuable resource for both students and researchers. We would greatly appreciate if you could help in this effort in two ways:
1. By sending us (to varnai@climate.gsfc.nasa.gov) references to your publications on topics relevant to I3RC (e.g., 3D radiative transfer, heterogeneous cloud structures). If possible, please attach the pdf files of your publications so that we can post them at the web site. Please note that our email server cannot handle individual messages larger than 10 MByte.
2. By sending us links to publicly available codes relevant to I3RC (e.g., 3D radiative transfer models, models that generate heterogeneous cloud structures through either dynamical or stochastic simulations). Please accompany each link with a few key words or sentences to help the description of your code at the web site (e.g., capabilities, main features, limitations). We would greatly appreciate links to relevant codes even if you did not co-author them; in such cases we will ask the authors for a brief description of their codes.
We will post the publications and links sent to us at the I3RC web site and will send you an email notification once the submitted resources become available online.
Thank you for your help.
